How to register (5 steps)

Register on exams.nta.nic.in/nifteeGet your Application Number and set a password. Use it for every later login.
Fill the application formProgramme (B.Des, B.FTech or both), exam cities, education details. A live photo is taken by webcam or phone.
Upload photo & signaturePhoto JPG 10–200 KB (80% face, white background). Signature JPG 10–50 KB.
Pay the fee onlineNet banking, debit/credit card or UPI. Not refundable.
Download the Confirmation PageKeep it safe; you don't post it to NTA. Do it before 16 Nov.

Eligibility

B.Des: Class 12 (10+2) pass from a recognised board. Under 24 years on 1 Aug 2027 (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/PwD)
B.FTech: Class 12 with Maths, or a 3–4 year engineering diploma. Same age limit
M.Des / M.F.M. / M.FTech: Bachelor's degree as per NIFT's rules. No age limit

What is the NIFT 2027 application fee?

₹2,000 (General, EWS, OBC-NCL), ₹500 (SC/ST/PwD). For both B.Des and B.FTech in one form: ₹3,000 / ₹750. NRI / foreign nationals: ₹11,100. Bank charges extra.

Can I apply after 16 November?

Yes, till 21 November 2026, with a late fee of ₹5,000 on top of the application fee.

When is the NIFT 2027 exam?

10 January 2027. GAT is on computer (CBT), CAT is on paper (PBT). Shortlisted B.Des candidates then take the Situation Test (March/April 2027, tentative).

How many NIFT campuses are there?

20 campuses across India, all through one NIFTEE 2027 exam conducted by NTA.
